Sarah received her B.S. in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University and is currently a Houston Baptist University master’s level student intern finalizing her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health. Sarah is curretly completing University required face-to-face supervised practicum hours of counseling experience.
In addition to her academic studies, she is a US Navy veteran who served as a Hospital Corpsman working with Marines and Sailors in a variety of settings, from the hospital to the field. She has experience with the lifestyles and stressors of first responders and their families and is versed in working with crisis and trauma. Sarah's varied life and occupational experiences have equipped her with tools valuable to her helping clients reach their life's goals.
Further, Sarah has two years' experience working with children, adolescents, and teenagers within the school setting as a substitute teacher. In this roll she was responsible for teaching the provided lesson plan and insuring the general well being of the students in the classroom.
